College of Education renamedSept. 21, 2009 KALAMAZOO--During its Sept. 17 meeting, Western Michigan University's Board of Trustees approved changing the name of the College of Education to the College of Education and Human Development. Such programs include athletic training, community health education, counseling psychology, dietetics, early childhood and family relations, exercise and sport medicine, exercise science, family and consumer sciences, family studies, food service administration, human resources development, interior design, recreation, sport management, sport studies, and textile and apparel studies.
