'Whatever Works' at Little Theatre

KALAMAZOO--Kalamazoo Film Society presents Woody Allen's "Whatever Works," starring Larry David, Friday through Sunday, Oct. 9-11, in the Little Theatre at Western Michigan University.

Show times are 7 and 9:30 p.m. Friday; 4:30, 7 and 9:30 p.m. Saturday; and 2:30, 5 and 7 p.m. Sunday. General admission is $5 and $3 for students with a valid ID.

An eccentric New Yorker played by Larry David abandons his upper-class life to lead a more bohemian existence. After meeting a young Southern girl and her family, he discovers that life among the nonconformists isn't quite as carefree as he'd envisioned it to be.

Written and directed by Woody Allen, the 2009 film is shown in English. It has a run time of 92 minutes and is rated PG-13 for adult language and some sexual content.

Parking and directions

The Little Theatre is located at the corner of Oakland Drive and Oliver Lane on WMU's East Campus. Free off-street parking is available behind the theatre.
