Gold Company presents annual preview concertOct. 27, 2009 KALAMAZOO--Gold Company, Western Michigan University's internationally recognized vocal jazz ensemble, will hold its 32nd annual "Sneak Preview" concert at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, in the Dalton Center Recital Hall. Gold Company will present a preview of new music from its upcoming "Love: Gold Company Style" show, which is scheduled to open Saturday, Feb. 13, in Miller Auditorium. The concert also will feature the premiere of a new arrangement of "I've Got a Gal in Kalamazoo," as well as an appearance by GC II, directed by WMU alumnus Michael Wheaton. Led by Dr. Steve Zegree, WMU professor of music, Gold Company has a wide-ranging repertoire and is recognized as one of the most prestigious collegiate vocal jazz programs in the world.
