Western Brass Quintet performs at Dalton Center

Oct. 29, 2009

KALAMAZOO--Western Brass Quintet will perform at 8:15 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, in the Dalton Center Recital Hall at Western Michigan University.

The New York Times recently praised the quintet, saying: "The Western Brass Quintet gave unremitting evidence of their individual talents and ensemble training; chords were precisely weighted and registered, instrumental blends were sensitively arranged, and there was rarely a tentatively attacked or released note."

During its "Borsch and Brass" concert, the resident faculty ensemble will share newly commissioned works from its recent Russian Tour.

Tickets

All seating is general admission. Tickets are $12, $10 for senior citizens and $5 for students, and are available from the Miller Auditorium Ticket Office at (269) 387-2300 or (800) 228-9858. Full-price tickets are also available online at millerauditorium.com.
