Western Warm-Up booth registration under way

Nov. 30, 2009

KALAMAZOO--Registration is under way through Friday, Dec. 4, for an event on the Western Michigan University campus that's being described as a "mini Bronco Bash."

Western Warm-Up takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, in the East Ballroom of the Bernhard Center. The event will give both new and returning students the opportunity to learn more about campus departments and registered student organizations.

University departments and RSOs are invited to register to give out fliers, pamphlets and goodies to promote their organizations. Hot chocolate and cookies will be available, and live entertainment will be provided by WMU's Campus Activities Board from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring Justin Kredible, billed as "like a magician, but cooler."

Registration

Tables will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. A signup form is available on the First-Year Experience Programs site. Forms should be sent to Adrienne Fraaza at adrienne.fraaza@wmich.edu, or by mail to the First-Year Experience/Fall Welcome office at mailstop 5285.
