WMU readies for start of spring semesterJan. 1, 2010 KALAMAZOO--Following a 10-day holiday closure, Western Michigan University offices open Monday, Jan. 4, in preparation for the start of spring semester Jan. 11. Academic advising is available beginning Monday, Jan. 4. One Stop Convenience Center opens Thursday, Jan. 7. Residence halls reopen at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9. Spring semester begins at 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 11. Many campus services remain on reduced hours through Jan. 11. Listed below are hours for selected University services. Bernhard Center and Bronco Mall hours are available on the Bernhard Center Web site. All facilities and stores resume normal hours Monday, Jan. 11. Campus computing The Help Desk is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 4-8; is closed Jan. 9; open noon to 10 p.m. Jan. 10; and resumes normal hours Monday, Jan. 11. Bernhard Computing Center reopens at 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 11. University Computing Center lab is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 4-8; closed Jan. 9-10; and resumes normal hours at 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 11. Sindecuse Health Center, including the pharmacy, is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 4-8; closed Jan. 9-10; and resumes normal hours at 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 11. When Sindecuse is closed, refer medical emergencies to local hospitals or other health-care providers. Student Recreation Center hours are available on the center's Web site. It is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Jan. 4-8; open noon to 7 p.m. Jan. 9-10; and resumes normal hours at 6 a.m. Monday, Jan. 11. Unified Clinics reopens normal hours Monday, Jan. 4.
