Public forums will examine campus master plan

Feb. 16, 2010

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University's 10-year-old campus master plan is undergoing a thorough review and will be the topic of two public workshops Feb. 22-23.

The plan is a tool for guiding development and growth of WMU's physical campus. To be successful, it needs to be reviewed and updated periodically to reflect changes to buildings and grounds and to the curriculum, and to respond to local and regional needs.

WMU Campus Master Plan Workshops
Fetzer Center Room 2016
Monday, Feb. 22, 2 to 5 p.m.
Tuesday, Feb. 23, 6 to 9 p.m.

Each workshop will include a presentation about the master plan, an overview of current building projects and a discussion session. The workshops are open to the public free of charge.

Visit www.cf.wmich.edu/masterplan for more information about the plan, including a summary of the 2008 Master Plan Review. For more information contact David Dakin, director of campus planning, at david.dakin@wmich.edu or (269) 387-8543.
