Campus network outages Sunday

KALAMAZOO--All Internet and network connections at Western Michigan University will be unavailable intermittently between 6 a.m. and noon Sunday, Feb. 28, including University Web pages and e-mail services.

Affected services

• wmich.edu and all Web pages housed on University servers
• GoWMU, the University's secure intranet portal
• ECS webmail
• GroupWise e-mail and GroupWise WebAccess
• E-learning
• Banner, the student information system
• IP phone service
• Other services that utilize the campus network

Students, faculty and staff are urged not to use any of these services between 6 a.m. and noon Sunday--even if a service appears to be operational--because it could result in lost work or files.

If you have any questions or problems, call the Help Desk at (269) 387-HELP (387-4357). If you call when the Help Desk is closed, leave a detailed message and your contact information.
