March 8, 2010

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University students, faculty and staff can win an iPod Touch, $50 gift card or external hard drive for completing an online survey about the services offered by University Libraries.

Take the survey now

The LibQUAL+ survey is available now through Monday, April 12. It takes about 10 minutes to complete, and those who participate will be entered into a drawing for the chance to win an iPod Touch, a 1 TB external hard drive, a $50 gift certificate to the WMU Bookstore, and other great prizes. A valid WMU e-mail address is required.

The comparative national data provided by the LibQUAL+ survey allows academic libraries to assess and improve their services.

"The survey will help us better understand student, faculty and staff information needs and any concerns they might have with respect to our services," says Dr. Joseph G. Reish, dean of University Libraries. "We would like to use this knowledge to improve our collections, accessibility to materials and services."
