Peter VanDenBergMarch 19, 2010 Peter VanDenBerg, a retired Western Michigan University staff member, died March 15 in Kalamazoo. He was 79. VandenBerg worked as a carpenter for more than 40 years. He was employed at WMU for 12 of those years, coming to the University in 1981 and retiring in 1993. He also worked at Miller-Davis Co. for 16 years, and was self-employed for several years. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Second Christian Reformed Church, Kalamazoo Gospel Mission or Alamo Nursing Home.
