Spring blood drives scheduled

KALAMAZOO--Spring blood drives have been scheduled on the Western Michigan University campus starting Friday, April 2, in honor of National Volunteer Week, April 18-24.

The week celebrates the nation's giving spirit, which the American Red Cross hopes will be put into practice locally by people rolling up their sleeves and donating blood or becoming a Red Cross volunteer.

April 2010 blood drives

  • Friday, April 2--Richmond Center for Visual Arts, 10:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., main floor classroom.
  • Friday, April 2--Health and Human Services Building, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., study lounge by the fountain.
  • Wednesday, April 7--Bernhard Center, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Ballroom, sponsored by the Health Professional Society.
  • Friday, April 9--Engineering and Applied Sciences Building, 10:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., East Study Lounge, E-130, sponsored by the Tsai Lun Society.
