Check out e-learning solutions at public sessions

April 2, 2010

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University is evaluating its learning management system, generically called e-learning, with the prospect of changing to a new licensed product during 2011.

WMU uses Blackboard Learning Systems: Vista Enterprise, commonly called Blackboard Vista, which is being phased out and merged with a new product, making this an appropriate time to re-evaluate WMU's e-learning platform.

As part of the evaluation, all students and faculty are invited to public presentations of the four leading e-learning solutions. All of the presentations will take place in the Fetzer Center’s Putney Auditorium, and there will be two identical presentations, one from 9 to 11 a.m. and a second from 2 to 4 p.m., on each of four dates.
