'Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus' at Little TheatreApril 2, 2010 KALAMAZOO--Kalamazoo Film Society presents the Academy Award-nominated "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" Friday through Sunday, April 9-11, in the Little Theatre at Western Michigan University. Show times are 7 and 9:30 p.m. Friday; 4:30, 7 and 9:30 p.m. Saturday; and 2:30, 5 and 7:30 p.m. Sunday. General admission is $5 and $3 for students with a valid ID. "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" is Terry Gilliam's latest movie and maintains his reputation as one of film's most inventive writers and directors. In this film, Doctor Parnassus, the director of a traveling theatre company, leads his troupe to the Imaginarium--a place where dreams come true. Stunning visuals and a large cast of talented actors, including Johnny Depp, Jude Law, the late Heath Ledger, Colin Farrell, Christopher Plummer and Lily Cole, make "The Imaginarium" a must-see destination. The 2009 film is shown in English, Russian and French with English subtitles, and has a run time of 123 minutes. It is rated PG-13 for violent images, coarse language and some sensuality.
