WMU to sublease space to state agencyApril 16, 2010 KALAMAZOO--Acting at their April 15 meeting, Western Michigan University's Board of Trustees authorized University officials to sublease space in WMU's Michigan Geological Repository for Research and Education--MGRRE--to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and Environment. The agency will lease 7,749 square feet of space in the University's core sample facility, which is used for research and instruction in the Department of Geological Sciences. MGRRE is located at 5272 West Michigan Ave. The five-year agreement would become effective May 1, at an annual rate of $21,000, with a 2 percent annual increase build in for the term of the lease.
