Lloyd W. WesterMay 25, 2010 Lloyd W. Wester, a Western Michigan University staff member, died May 23, 2009 in Kalamazoo, it was recently learned. He was 79. Wester came to WMU in 1959 and retired in 1992 after 33 years with the University. At the time of his retirement, he was employed in logical services. An Escanaba, Mich., native, Wester served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was an avid professional and college sports fan.
