Promotions of 53 WMU faculty members approved

KALAMAZOO--The promotions of 53 faculty members at Western Michigan University were approved by the WMU Board of Trustees at its May 26 conference-call meeting.

Twenty-one faculty members were promoted to the rank of full professor, while 28 were promoted to associate professor. In addition, three faculty members were promoted to master faculty specialist and one to faculty specialist II. All of the promotions are effective with the beginning of the 2010-11 academic year.
