Kalamazoo Kings host WMU Night

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University students, faculty and staff will receive free admission for themselves and up to four guests to watch the Kalamazoo Kings professional baseball team take on the Florence (Ky.) Freedom Tuesday, Aug. 17, at 7 p.m.

The first 300 people from WMU through the gate at the Mayor's Riverfront Park also will receive a free hot dog and drink for themselves and their guests, courtesy of President John M. and Linda Dunn. Buster Bronco will be on hand to welcome guests and throw the first pitch.

A valid Bronco Card is required. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held Wednesday, Aug. 18.

The Kalamazoo Kings are a part of the Frontier League Professional Baseball Organization, an Independent Professional League. The team is not affiliated with any major league team, but it is a full professional organization.
