Main entrance to Bernhard Center closed

Aug. 12, 2010

KALAMAZOO--Access to the Bernhard Cafe and Bronco Express on the main floor of the Bernhard Center at Western Michigan University will be routed through the Bronco Mall entrance and east stairwell of the building Monday, Aug. 16, through Sunday, Aug. 22, to allow installation of new flooring in the main lobby.

To get to Bronco Express, the one-stop center for bill payment and other University business, students should take the east stairway, just inside the Bronco Mall entrance, up one flight to the Bernhard Cafe. From there, students may pass through the cafe to enter Bronco Express. Visitors to the Bernhard Center offices will also be routed to the east stairway.

Signs have been posted throughout the building, and a visitor information staff member will be on hand inside the main entrance to direct people.

The new flooring is part of a summer-long renovation of the main lobby.
