Bronco Radio Network adds WVIC in mid-Michigan

Aug. 23, 2010

KALAMAZOO--Midwest Communications station WVIC 94.1 FM, serving Lansing, Jackson, Battle Creek and all of south central Michigan, is the newest addition to Western Michigan University's Bronco Radio Network for football and men's basketball.

"WVIC is a huge addition to our network, extending our football and men's basketball coverage farther east for our many fans and alums in mid Michigan," says the "Voice of the Broncos" Robin Hook, WMU assistant athletic director.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Midwest Communications station WKZO 96.5 FM in Kalamazoo is returning as the flagship station of the Bronco Radio Network. WMU fans will also be able to listen to the Broncos this fall on WMAX 96.1 FM (ESPN) serving Grand Rapids, Holland and Muskegon, and on WBCH 100.1 FM in Hastings, serving Barry, Calhoun and Ionia counties.

Bronco fans outside the coverage area can access Bronco Radio Network broadcasts at wmubroncos.com or on the Web streaming sites of the Bronco Radio Network stations.
