Casting call for Bronco commercialsSept. 13, 2010 KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University students and fans of all ages have to opportunity to star in commercials advertising the 2010-11 hockey and basketball seasons.
Fans are encouraged to attend both casting calls and should be dressed in their best Bronco gear and be prepared to say one or two lines, such as "Go Broncos" or "I cheer for the Broncos." Props and signs are also encouraged. A wide variety a fans will be used in the commercials as well as in other media outlets. In addition to being featured in the commercials, photos will also be used for a variety of print material and Web advertisements. In order to use as many Bronco fans as possible, each commercial will feature different fans. All participants will be required to fill out a consent form upon arrival. Any children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult or have a parent or legal guardian sign the consent form prior to arrival or at the stadium. Casting calls for the hockey commercial will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17, at Lawson Ice Arena and for the basketball commercial from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 23, at Read Fieldhouse. Check in is in the lobby of Lawson Ice Arena and by the ticket windows at Read Fieldhouse.
