'She Stoops to Conquer' at University Theatre

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University Theatre kicks off its Simply Classic series with "She Stoops to Conquer," running Oct. 28 through Nov. 7 in Williams Theatre at the Gilmore Theatre Complex.

Oliver Goldsmith's "She Stoops to Conquer" is a farcical romp that brings mistaken identity, affairs, jewels and true love to the stage in convoluted proportions. Engaging audiences with their sparkling wit and ridiculous blunders, the characters portray one fateful night they will never forget.

Cast and creative team

James Daniels, WMU professor of theatre, directs the all-student cast, which includes: Ben Andre, Sara Bower, Eric Braman, Patrick Connaghan, Joe Dely, Jacob Hatfield, Shannon Hill, Chase Lepla, Leia McWhorter-Pusateri, Chelsea Morgan, Kenzie Ross, Mitch Voss and Jenna Wyatt.

The creative team includes WMU student Cole Butcher as stage manager.

Tickets

All seating for "She Stoops to Conquer" at Williams Theatre is general admission. Tickets are $20, $15 for senior citizens and WMU employees, and $5 for students.
