Veterans Day Blood Drive held at WMU

Photo of Red Cross Blood Drive art.KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University is sponsoring a Veterans Day Blood Drive from 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, in the ROTC offices in the Activity Therapy Building on WMU's Oakland Drive Campus.

The blood drive is open to the public. Walk-in donors are welcome, or to schedule an appointment, contact Cris Obreiter at (269) 387-8120.

To get to the Activity Therapy Building take Oliver Street to Cass Street, follow Cass past the Health and Human Services Building and look for the ROTC sign.

Intended to honor past and present veterans of the U.S. military, the Veterans Day Blood Drive is organized by the WMU's ROTC Bronco Battalion and Department of Military Science, and by the American Red Cross.
