Photo of robbery suspect releasedDec. 14, 2010 KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University Public Safety has released security camera photos of a man believed to be the suspect in two separate armed robberies that occurred at 6:20 and 6:55 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13, in the area of the roundabout near Faunce Student Services Building on West Michigan Avenue.
A short time after the second robbery, a man matching the description of the robber and wearing a dark Kalamazoo Valley Cougars hoody and ski mask was videotaped (left) on security cameras in Rood Hall carrying a purse believed to be the one stolen in the second robbery. The purse was later found inside Rood Hall, where this security camera photo was taken at 7:05 p.m. Anyone with information about the robberies or the identity of the man in the security camera photos should contact WMU Public Safety immediately at (269) 387-5555 or Silent Observer at (269) 343-2100.
