KALAMAZOO--New and returning students will be welcomed to Western Michigan University with an event designed to get them more involved in the campus community.

"This event showcases the many involvement opportunities available at WMU," says Lynnae Stankus, associate director of Student Activities and Leadership Programs. "It's important that students know what's out there, so they can find places to pursue their passions and make friends who share their interests."

More than 75 University departments and registered student organizations will be handing out information and free goodies, and refreshments will be available. Students can be entered to win prizes by completing a punch card at the event. Winners will be announced at the Campus Activities Board's Miller Movie later that evening. Students must be present at the 9 p.m. event in Miller Auditorium to win.
