Lectures address plagiarism and responsible conduct

KALAMAZOO--Dr. Miguel Roig, professor of psychology at St. John's University, will deliver talks on "The Culture of Plagiarism" and "Responsible Conduct of Research" Wednesday, March 16, in Putney Auditorium of the Fetzer Center at Western Michigan University.

10 to 11 a.m. -- "The Culture of Plagiarism: Lying, Cheating, and Stealing in Academe"
12:45 to 3 p.m. -- "Responsible Conduct of Research: Contextual Dimensions for Faculty and Graduate Students"

A 30-minute discussion of both lectures will follow the second lecture at 3 p.m. Both lectures are open to the public free of charge.
