Schedule a WMU Geology Tour

Educators interested in scheduling a WMU geology tour are encouraged to do so by completing the form below. Currently, however, our ability to fulfill requests depends on future funding. As such, although we would love to fulfill all requests, please be aware that it is a possibility that we may not be able to so.

If you know of an individual, organization or corporation that may be interested in supporting the CoreKids program, please refer them to our Giving page or encourage them to contact CoreKids Director Dr. Peter Voice directly.

Please provide at least three weeks prior notice.
WMU geology tours typically last 1 to 2 hours. Please provide the earliest time at which you could arrive and the latest time you must leave.
:
CoreKids modules are designed to facilitate group sizes of 30 students.
CoreKids modules and sub-modules are designed to last 50 minutes each.
WMU geology tours are flexible to meet the needs of the visitor. Depending on the time available, tours can include both the MGRRE facility and the Department of Geosciences in Rood Hall. Visitors must provide their own transportation to all locations. For more information on what specifically is included in each tour, visit corekids/visits-tours/tours.
