As head of Retail and Consumer Goods Industry Strategy and Business Development for North America at Amazon Web Services, Galiasso sets the strategic direction for industry-led transformation efforts, working through a bench of experienced industry experts to help leading brands and retailers translate digital innovation, advanced analytics and AI/ML into measurable business outcomes. Her work focuses on enabling differentiated customer experiences and driving operational excellence across the retail and consumer goods value chain.
Prior to Amazon, Galiasso was an associate partner in Monitor Deloitte’s Retail and Consumer Goods Strategy practice, where she spent over 15 years advising C-suite leaders on end-to-end value chain transformation. Her experience spans plant-level productivity, customer profitability, pricing and trade strategy, omnichannel consumer engagement, and the design of resilient, data-driven supply chains.
An entrepreneur at heart, Galiasso has been part of founding teams for both a medical device company and a technology-driven fitness venture. These experiences continue to inform her builder-oriented leadership style and her focus on turning new ideas into scalable, commercially grounded solutions. She remains actively engaged in the startup ecosystem as a mentor through the University of Chicago’s Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship.
Galiasso holds an MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and B.S.B.A. and M.S. Finance degrees with Honors from Washington University in St. Louis. She brings a global lens to her leadership, shaped by growing up in Singapore and Indonesia and now raising her family in New York.
