2006 Air Race Classic 'flight log'June 19, 2006 by Courtney Hedlund and Leslie Treppa MESA, Ariz.--We're off to bed early to get a good night's sleep before start the big race. Tomorrow begins with breakfast at 5:30 a.m. with all of the other racers. The 2006 Air Race Classic will kick-off here in Mesa at 8 a.m. local time, with planes taking off at 30-second intervals.
