KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University English students will give a glimpse into careers that can be acquired with an English major during a poster presentation from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, in Room 3210 of Dunbar Hall.

Forty undergraduate students will display their posters and discuss careers in such fields as editing and publishing, teaching, technical writing, academia, public relations and creative writing. The students completed the project as part of the "Intro to English Studies" course taught by lecturer Dr. Meg Dupuis and Dr. Jill Larson, associate professor of English.

For more information on the free and open event, contact Dr. Richard Utz, chair of the Department of English, at richard.utz@wmich.edu or (269) 387-2571.
