Sarah A. Sims, a former Western Michigan University staff member, died April 17. She was 72.
Sims joined the WMU staff in 1991 and retired as a custodian in 2004 after 13 years of service to the University. She was a lifelong Kalamazoo resident.
Visitation and service took place Thursday, April 21, in Portage, Mich. Memorial donations may be made to the family to offset funeral expenses or the charity of one's choice.
