Virginia N. Crawford, a former Western Michigan University staff member, died April 10. She was 86.
Crawford served as a secretary III in the College of General Studies. She joined the WMU staff in 1967 and retired in 1986 after more than 19 years of service to the University.
A Kalamazoo native, she also lived in the nearby cities of Portage, Paw Paw and, most recently, Scotts. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral will be held. Burial will take place in Mount Ever-Rest Cemetery in Kalamazoo.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
