KALAMAZOO--Martz Communications Group's Detroit radio station 94.3 FM, "The Bone," is the newest affiliate of Western Michigan University's Bronco Radio Network for football.

The station will air all regular and postseason WMU football games, beginning Saturday, Sept. 3, when the Broncos take on the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

"We are thrilled to add another quality FM signal to the Bronco Radio Network, which now delivers Bronco football on the FM dial across the state of Michigan," said Robin Hook, assistant athletic director and voice of the Broncos. "With the 94.3 FM tower located in the heart of the Detroit metro, in Oak Park, our large population of WMU fans and alums in the area will now be able to follow the Broncos all season."

In addition to games, 94.3 will carry the daily two minute feature "Bronco Update" afternoons Monday through Friday, during the football season.

The Bronco Football Radio Network also includes flagship station WKZO 96.5 FM, serving Kalamazoo-Portage; ESPN 96.1 FM, serving Holland-Grand Rapids-Muskegon; and WVIC 94.1 FM; serving Lansing-Jackson-Battle Creek.
