Concert raises funds for student scholarships

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University's internationally recognized School of Music will present a scholarship benefit concert featuring its most celebrated student and faculty ensembles at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, in Miller Auditorium.

The second annual "WMUsic Showcase Spectacular" is open to the public, and will include performances by Gold Company, Bronco Marching Band, University Symphony Orchestra, University Chorale, Grand Chorus, WMU Jazz Orchestra and Western Wind Quintet, among others.

Tickets

General admission tickets are $15, $12 for senior citizens, and $5 for students with a valid Bronco ID card. They are available at the door and through the Miller Auditorium Ticket Office at millerauditorium.com/som, (269) 387-2300 or (800) 228-9858.

All proceeds will support WMU School of Music student scholarships.
