Cornelia "Connie" Bair

Cornelia "Connie" Bair, former food services director at Western Michigan University's Burnham Hall for 25 years, died Sept. 11, in Battle Creek, Mich. She was 98.

Bair joined WMU in 1959 in food services. She and her husband, Ted, owned Teddy Bair, a restaurant located on the WMU campus, as well. She retired from the University in 1976 after closing the couple's restaurant.

Memorial services were held in Kalamazoo.
