Senior day care marks decade of service

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University Alliance Senior Day Care is celebrating 10 years of service to the greater Kalamazoo community with an open house Friday, Oct. 21, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the day care facility in the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1515 Helen Ave., Portage.

The open house features By Design barbershop quartet and remarks by Dr. Earlie Washington, dean of the WMU College of Health and Human Services.

WMU Alliance Senior Day Care is an adult respite program with medical supervision from nursing staff and trained health care aides, with assistance from student interns from the College of Health and Human Services.
