Aerobathon for United Way
KALAMAZOO--Spend the day pumping your abdominals, getting your kicks or just climbing the walls to benefit the United Way at an aerobic marathon at Western Michigan University.

The WMU Aerobathon runs from 12:30 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, in the first floor gym of the Student Recreation Center. Tickets are $5 in advance or $7 on the day of the event and available at the recreation center service desk. All proceeds will go to the WMU United Way Giving Campaign.

Workout schedule

The climbing wall also will be open 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

WMU's campus drive has generated more than $216,000 to date, about 72 percent of its $300,000 goal, all of which will be contributed to the Greater Kalamazoo United Way. Visit kalamazoounitedway.org to learn more about the organization's 40 local agencies and hear stories from people whose lives have been changed by the help they received from United Way.

On-campus fundraising will continue through Friday, Nov. 11. For information on making a gift, contact wmu-united-way@wmich.edu. Contributions can be made as one-time donations by cash, check or credit card, or as pledges, payable by payroll deduction, credit card or direct billing from United Way.
