A native and resident of Kalamazoo, Jennings was drafted by Green Bay in the second round in 2006. In February, he scored two touchdowns in the Packers' 31-25 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLV. He was also named to the Pro Bowl following the 2010 regular season in which he was No. 2 in the NFC and fourth overall with 1,265 yards on 76 catches and tied a career-high with 12 touchdown receptions.
At WMU, Jennings finished with the school's career records in number of receptions (238), touchdowns (39) and all-purpose yards (5,050). As a senior, Jennings led the nation in receptions-per-game (8.91) and ranked second in touchdowns and in yards-per-game (114.45). He was named the Mid-American Conference's Offensive Player of the Year.
