Jazz bands present annual 'Tribute to the Great Swing Bands'

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University's 29th annual "Tribute to the Great Swing Bands" will begin at 8:15 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, in the Dalton Center Recital Hall.

The University Jazz Orchestra and University Jazz Lab Band will perform works from the Duke Ellington Orchestra, Terry Gibbs Big Band and Boyd Raeburn Orchestra.

General admission tickets are $10 and $5 for WMU students with a valid ID. They are available at the door and through the Miller Auditorium Ticket Office at millerauditorium.com/som, (269) 387-2300 or (800) 228-9858.
