Burns, who joined the staff in 2000, was a supervisor in the maintenance services division of Facilities Management.
Visitation with family and friends is from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1, at the Life Story Funeral Home, Betzler-Kalamazoo, 6080 Stadium Dr. Services will also be held at that location at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2. A luncheon will follow in the Life Story Center.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
