Summer 1 financial aid applications will be available on or before Feb. 21, 2017. Please view our Forms tab for the Summer 1 application.

1098-T FORM

WMU is required to mail a 1098-T form to most students on the amount of tuition and qualified fees paid. The 1098-T form is mailed by Jan. 31 each year. To claim the credit, the student or parent needs to complete the IRS Form 8863.

Each year after Jan. 31, you can also access your own 1098-T information. If you have questions about the information indicated on your 1098-T form, please call (877) 467-3821.

Work-study cancellations begin Feb. 22. Spring work-study recipients must have earnings charged to their spring work-study awards by Tuesday, Feb. 21, or those awards will be canceled. If a student has been hired, but will not be paid through work-study until after this date, the student and the employer must notify the financial aid office by e-mailing on or before the Feb. 21 deadline. E-mails received after Feb. 21 will not be considered and once an award has been canceled it may not be reinstated.
