The Esports program at WMU provides students with the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the dynamic world of competitive gaming. Our Esports Arena, located on East Campus, combines multiple gaming stations with state of the art production capabilities. Esports offers opportunities for recreational and competitive gaming along with hands-on experiences for those looking to gain experience in the gaming world.
Here are some of the things our Esports program offers:
- Varsity teams competing in the Esports Collegiate Leagues (ESC)
- Numerous club teams focusing on a wide-variety of gaming titles

Bronco Beatdown
Join us for our monthly fighting game tournaments to win monetary prizes! We offer events in Tekken 8, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Street Fighter 6, and more! There are fees associated with participation in this event (discounts available for WMU students), and event is open to WMU and the local community.
Arena Open Play
Join us most Fridays from 6 to 10 p.m. for open gaming at the Esports Arena.
