    The Fintech Aficionado

Eduardo Jimenez Martin has always tried to strike the perfect balance between his many endeavors. As a key player on the WMU men’s soccer team, he balanced his role as captain with maintaining a 3.96 GPA and serving on the Student Leadership Advisory Board.

After graduating, the Seville, Spain native earned his Chartered Financial Analyst designation and started his career as a graduate analyst at Santander Corporate & Investment Banking in Madrid. This exposure to global banking opened his eyes to the importance of technology and the disruption it can have on the financial world. Thus, his passion for financial technology and code development was born.

Jimenez Martin soon moved to another leading fintech corporation, ETS Asset Management Factory and developed a niche as a finance professional with coding skills. From there, he took an analyst position with a fintech company in London, where he developed code on processes involving financial product data. Currently, he faces a new opportunity joining leading portfolio analytics provider Style Analytics, where he will be challenged with providing investment management professionals with advice and support on factor investing and portfolio management. A self-described “eternal learner,” Jimenez Martin is currently working on completing his Financial Risk Manager designation.
