Dedicated to Duty
Jason Antczak has never shied away from answering the call to help others. A two-time graduate of the Haworth College of Business, Antczak honorably served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves as an infantry rifleman, which included a deployment to Afghanistan from 2017 to 2018. He was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for superior performance of duties as an infantry squad leader in combat conditions.
A certified internal auditor and certified information systems auditor, Antczak currently serves as a senior accountant and internal auditor for the State of Michigan. He was recognized for outstanding fieldwork as a risk advisor to Flint during the city’s water crisis.
Antczak is now part of a team that monitors the accounting structure of the state’s multi-billion-dollar Medicaid grant and multiple other public health and safety grants. As COVID-19 has significantly affected Michigan residents’ health and finances, his team has been essential in managing the substantial increase in Medicaid-eligible expenditures and related federal reporting.
