Senior Program Manager, Microsoft

  • The Creative Problem Solver

Elizabeth Gartner found a recipe for success by combining creativity, professionalism and an open mind. As a Business Bronco, she was encouraged by her favorite professors to consider a master’s degree in human resources and industrial relations. She took their advice and excelled at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Gartner had the opportunity to work in a variety of private and public businesses before joining Microsoft. Passionate about organizational challenges that improve and empower employee experiences, she has held an impressive six roles within the corporation. She has collaborated with globally diverse teammates, supported a corporate vice president with a growing 500-person team, onboarded a new service center in Mexico City, and built an employee experience strategy.

Gartner received the Haworth College of Business Emerging Leader Alumni Award in 2019. In her spare time, you can find her on horseback, working on DIY projects, whiskey tasting or playing videogames with her family.
