For Karlee Hancock, working in the food marketing industry means bringing a fresh perspective to the table. As a category development analyst for Hormel’s MegaMex division, she leverages tools in both retail data and food service to help bring authentic Mexican food products to consumers worldwide.

Hancock previously participated in Hormel’s professional development program, rotating through positions in retail, analytics and sales. These experiences have allowed her to wear many hats within the company, and gain valuable skills in promotion, marketing and building relationships with buyers.

Always looking to improve her competitive edge—she has completed professional development courses through Delta Associates, Dale Carnegie Training and Speaking on the Spot. This ambassador for inclusion also serves on a number of committees and volunteer boards, including the MegaMex Diversity and Inclusion Alliance, Olive Crest, Network of Executive Women – Southern California, and Hormel’s internal women’s networking group.
