New home for WMU Emeriti Council

University Advancement welcomes the WMU Emeriti Council as an official affiliate. This distinguished group of retired faculty has long enriched the University, and we’re excited to provide a supportive home that honors their continued connection to WMU.

The Council will receive dedicated support from a team led by Dr. Kahler Schuemann, Interim Vice President for University Advancement and Executive Director of the WMU Foundation. Sharlee Coffman-Cook will offer logistical coordination, and David Bernard will serve as philanthropic advisor to help ensure donor engagement and giving opportunities remain central to the Council’s experience.

Join us in celebrating the mentorship, scholarship and service of our emeriti colleagues and in thanking them for their lasting contributions.
