We invite you to visit WMU!

We are currently hosting small, in-person tours while also being conscious of safety measures and physical distancing for both our campus community and visitors.

If you're a prospective graduate or international student, please visit the corresponding website for details and assistance on other visit opportunities.

In-person experiences

We recognize that the campus visit experience can be an important part of the college search process for students (and families). At WMU, we are hosting small, in-person tours while also being conscious of safety measures and physical distancing for both our campus community and visitors. As such, our Admissions team is prepared to offer you both virtual and in-person options. Should you choose the in-person visit experience, you will receive a student-led, 60-minute walking tour on our amazing campus and learn about all the possibilities and opportunities awaiting you at WMU.

We’re excited to welcome you to Kalamazoo—in person—to introduce you to life as a Bronco. Campus visits are one of the best ways for you to view student life first-hand—see our favorite spaces like Sangren Plaza and Miller Fountain—in other words, begin to imagine what life will be like as a Bronco!

Before your visit

All visitors are required to register for a tour in advance. To allow for proper social distancing, families are limited to three (3) members: the prospective student and two (2) guests. We regret that we will not be able to accommodate walk-in visitors. Face coverings are required and should be worn at all times, including the entire tour. You may review WMU’s Facial Covering (Mask) Policy online. After registering for the tour, you will receive specific information about campus arrival and check-in location via email. Our campus Visitor Guidelines can also be viewed online.

Self-guided Saturdays/Sundays

Explore WMU on the weekend through our WMU Campus Tour mobile app! Unsure on how to get started? Student ambassadors will be on standby on the First Floor in the Bernhard Center and ready to assist you in getting started with the app and tour path. You can find the table on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. ET. The self-guided app is, however, available to use 24/7.

The app can be used both on-campus or remotely from the comfort of your own home. If you choose to come to campus, the app will connect to GPS and give you turn-by-turn directions. After downloading the app, you will need to create an account (or sign in if you have already used the app), so that you are able to use the app in its entirety.
