Admitted Student Events

Admitted Student Events

Congratulations on being admitted to Western Michigan University!  As part of your next steps, we encourage you to register for an Admitted Student Event to spend a whole day with us and learn what it means to be a Bronco.  Join us for a full day designed exclusively for you and your fellow incoming students. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about WMU and get to know campus. You can also get one-on-one help to guide you through the enrollment process, if you are ready to do so.

This is your chance to ask questions, speak with academic college representatives, meet other incoming Broncos, check out student organizations and more! You can also take a look around campus and

  • Visit academic colleges
  • Check out residence halls
  • Tour campus, including academic and social spaces
  • Enjoy lunch with your peers

Your next steps in the enrollment process include signing your intent to enroll form, submitting your admissions deposit, registering for new student orientation and on-campus housing, and submitting your FAFSA. If you have any questions about completing your next steps, please reach out to your Admissions Representative or the Office of Admissions at (269) 387-2000.

Next steps

Let us know that you plan to attend WMU by visiting the Gold Gateway to complete the Intent to Enroll form and submit your $100 Enrollment Deposit, or request a deposit waiver. This fee confirms your enrollment and is applied to your fall semester tuition. Visit our Enrollment Deposit instruction website for more information. The enrollment deposit, or an approved waiver, must be submitted prior to registering for orientation.

Note that the enrollment deposit is automatically waived for Pell Grant-eligible students (fafsa.gov) when you confirm your admission via the Intent to Enroll form in the Gold Gateway
