Dini Metro-Roland is an associate professor of educational foundations at Western Michigan University. He received his doctorate in curriculum studies and philosophy of education from Indiana University. His recent publications touch on the themes of multicultural education, philosophical hermeneutics, and the pedagogical implications of online instruction. He is currently working with Dr. Paul Farber on a book that examines the qualitatively different forms of presence, authority and ethical relationships in online and traditional face-to-face instruction. Metro-Roland is also the course director for Humanities for Everybody and the coordinator of Western Michigan University's M.A. program in educational foundations.
