There is nothing more rewarding than to see meaningful and observable improvements in our clients' behaviors and in their quality of life. The most challenging part of my job is finding out where the wastewater operators are stuck in the permitting and reporting process. The most rewarding part of my position is helping those wastewater operators to work through their issues, so that they can enter their data in correctly and can be in compliance with the Clean Water Act.

First stop was basic and combat training in California, which in itself was quite a bit different from his origins in the Upper Peninsula. First station was in Pensacola, Fla., where Kinnunen learned "my MOS (military occupational specialty) job." That qualified him for assignment to the Marine installation at Cherry Point, N.C., as a flight equipment technician with the VMR-1 Marine Transport Squadron.

Based on performance calculations and customer requirements, I use Catia V5 to generate models and drawings of the proposed parts. I also do a lot of research on old designs and calculations that aid in the design process. If you had a campus job or internship, how did they impact your career development? Before graduating, I held an internship position with the same company for two years. This experience opened the door for me to join Parker Aerospace full-time upon graduation.
